| What was a fun social game with a better sequel has had dozen of awkward, overpriced "re-imaginings" to the point where I can't imagine anyone getting fun out of it or giving a crap. No game in the series has ever solved the problem of what a slog the design is without putting quarters in, and $80 for four friends to play &^%$ing Gauntlet is waaay too optimistic. All of this is buoyed by the fact that I just moved and I don't know where my gamepad is.
That said, the Valkyrie is covered head to toe in chain mail, from the art I've seen. This is an enormous victory for people who get angry at This Sort Of Thing. Since they always put their money where their mouths are, I'm sure the thing will be quite the hit! the dark and gritty...Ice Cream Jonsey! |
