| Gone Home sucked colossal ass though.
Brokeback Mountain was a movie about two people living a double life. Blue is the Warmest Color was a movie about a girl star struck by the novelty of a lesbian relationship, only for it to fall apart for the same reason all relationships do. Gone Home was garbage about typical dumb teenagers ruining their future to prolong an 8 month old highschool romance, but they're LESBIANS so it's all presented as perfect infallible pixie magic. It's built on nothing but false dread riding on cheap 90s nostalgia. Take away the thunderstorm sound effects and I don't think anyone would have bothered playing more than 15 minutes. |
