I already created the original series Enterprise on a very old 1.1 map, the D is more than double the length and height. I wonder if I'll ever finish it. So far, after one day: the dirt scaffolding is completed, with ruler-like markings so I know where I am. Starting on deck 10. In Terraria terms, the next gen Enterprise is 1054 blocks long -- each block is 2 feet square -- and 256 blocks tall, altogether.
One idea I had was maybe do a front view of the thing instead of a side cutaway. Rejected.
It's great trying to get accurate information about the Enterprise for this. Some folks think there are 16 decks in the saucer somehow? Sorry, 10 is exactly in the middle, so there has to be 19 or 20 decks there, guys. So this spec sheet that indicates that the saucer is 98 Terraria blocks tall has to be wrong, and it's more like 114. Oh well whatever.
Game news: they've updated this a lot and now your world is guaranteed to have a pyramid (usually mostly buried) and one or more giant trees. I gather they'll keep updating too, with an update development team, while the main guy goes off to lonely mountain peak to meditate on Terraria 2. |
