Re: (2013) by Hans Clastorp 07/12/2014, 3:53pm PDT I do not recommend re-watching The Last Starfighter. I really loved that movie as a kid; saw it at a Drive-In double bill with Cloak & Dagger (I do not remember that movie at all except that it has something to do with video games and espionage and dads?). Seeing it as an adult made me acutely aware of what a god-awful and cynical cash-in on Star Wars that that movie really was. It's a real shitpile and I felt cheated out of a good childhood memory. I urge you not make the same mistake :(
