No, fuck you. You do not get away with this. The final boss fight in this game is hands down one of the worst designed pieces of shit I have ever had the displeasure of fighting. It's absolute fucking garbage. It completely spoils the game. I'm only talking about the FIRST phase too, apparently there is a "true" version which I'm sure is even more tedious.
It's bad enough that most of the fights have been overly polluted with shit like health phases and other gimmicks. Like the other 'demi-god' bosses it has some ridiculous damage shield that can be negated with an item that drains your life each time you attack. It's worse than both the optional demi-god bosses combined. It's just a giant fucking exercise in frustration and bullshit. You'll run into it and have had no real trouble the whole game, and you'll have to go back and grind and respec.
It's just completely awful. I honestly think more often than not bosses are the weak point of this game, a few are fun but the majority are tedious and simple. It just really feels like this was the last boss designed at the guy was just fucking tired of it all. You know what I don't blame him because he has shared with me all the frustration and irritation in designing a video game with a team of two by plopping this shit sack of a boss at the end of an otherwise fantastic game. |
