I finally got sick of this. by Worm 06/06/2014, 9:28pm PDT Driving sucks, chasing guys sucks, you just tail him until Q to win. The story line rather than being a near future hacktivist world feels more like a discarded Shadowrun plot. The main character is less relateable and likable than Niko Belik he has no real reason for doing anything, causes all his own problems, and is probably the worst character in the game. He gets a boring alt-whore sidekick at one point too. There is one good NPC and that's Jordi he should have just been the main character and known nothing about hacking. It feels like it was a plot for his Niece to end up in some kind of sex trade but in classic Ubisoft style they backed off at the last moment to make a game I don't give a shit about. I've been told that sex trade things become part of the plot but I wouldn't know since I got tired of "muh family". I actually went back to play Prototype 2 since it seems to want to run on my ATI card now and it's just amazing how much better it is. Eating people and being a giant tentacle monster is central to the plot. In Watch Dogs it doesn't even feel like there's a point to having your player be a great hacker. The first few hours of the game being a hacker causes more trouble than it solves.
