| They just weren't on by default for some reason.
The final boss still requires the same exact strategy as before, except that now the hacking drone and mind control make the RNG even messier. Both are useless for the player on phase 2 and 3 since there's an anti drone shooter and the green shield blocks both. You CAN get a shield piercer for phase 3, but there's still nothing to fix the bullshit of phase 2 besides rockets, transports, and cloak. -Flak cannons and vulcan are okay at eventually taking down shields (bombs are still better on final boss) -Charge weapons are useless -Stun cannons are useless -Trying to throw one of the new aliens in the heal room and then hacking it so it's drained of oxygen and then poisons the other guys is kinda cool, but fire is better since it won't disappear as soon as your crew leaves the room. Oxygen drain also kind of fucks with the AI since they'll instantly run from a drained room like it's fully on fire. Have fun chasing a 5-man crew around while your metal dudes' only advantage is wasted. -The shops are alright now. -Cloning bays made the Mantis B cruiser a little less useless. |
