I've been wrestling with a better way to work with ID3 tags of MP3s on the player than the Creative software and copying the songs to the hard drive and using something like MP3 Catalog. I found a pretty decent program and I figure since a few people here use the same player as me I'd post it.

Is a pretty decent site with info about creative mp3 players. A good place to stay updated with incase anyone writes some neat custom firmware for the MP3 player, those bastards will be gushing a month beforehand.

Has a really good browser for your Nomad(any kind really) it allows you to batch edit the ID3 tags which is a must if you happened to have uploaded a load of MP3s with no year data, and are really annoyed by Unknown showing up anywhere. Though you have to buy the software, 25 bucks which isn't so bad. It also boasts a faster transfer rate. They also have similar software for about every MP3 player that is. |
