Re: Knights of the Chalice by Ice Cream Jonsey 03/17/2014, 12:57pm PDT So I got a chance to play a little KNIGHTS OF THE CHALICE last night. I had one fighter, two wizards and a cleric. I don't care what the (cool) developers or anyone else says, I love subclasses. But whatever, there is so much great shit in this game that I am letting that go. Letting it go, Caltrops! The first fight has a bunch of orcs or something attacking the castle. I got wiped out! I will have to use tactics and not get entangled and stuff. I can't ever remember playing a CRPG where I got wiped out during the first fight. Even in the original Bard's Tale, I killed my first group of kobolds and then got completely murdered by barbarians for the second fight. So, it has my attention. I love how plainly it introduces to you the fact that you'd better use spellcasting and perks and tactics. ICJ
