I feel like the Smart Gun is getting a TF2 Pyro Flamethower rap. by Worm 03/11/2014, 11:44am PDT Yeah sure the Smart Pistol is "lazy" but to use it successfully you have to either completely avoid head on confrontation or sneak around and constantly be out of sight. Further, it's real benefit is for farming and in the time you spend setting up Smart Pistol kills you could have killed that guy with a Shotgun and been out of there. So while you don't have to aim with the Smart Pistol I feel like it requires more thought and skill than the Shotgun.
