| The original is okay. Maniac Mansion meets The Faculty survival horror game. It's only made okay by co op.
But the sequel, Obscure: The Aftermath, might be the most underrated survival horror game ever! It gets rid of the annoying flashlight shield mechanic from the original (it worked in Alan Wake, not in Obscure) and it's so fast paced it never gets old. One segment you're smashing windows of a frat house just so you can get inside a party, then you're controlling 2 people on a security camera as they're being chased by a giant invincible monster, or running a gauntlet, or covering your parkouring partner. Definitely pick up if you have a buddy and 2 controllers. |
