| It's a incredible game for the first playthrough, but I can see it getting tedious on a second and borderline unplayable on a third. The gameplay and RPG mechanics are serviceable, but not particularly enjoyable in their own right. No real branching paths to speak of either; it's super linear and aside from one or two minor detours that diverge briefly before returning to the main story trunk, there's nothing to be gained from multiple playthroughs except seeing how the different classes handle and achievement farming. It's basically 15 hours of South Park, so an entire serialized season or six movies or however you want to think about it.
That first playthrough is really, really fun, though. When the price drops, get it. |
