What good is shittywebcomics or Wittgenstein and his constant attempts to insinuate himself into his criticism by demonstrating only two degrees of separation from some yutz who said dumb shit on twitter or set his kickstarter books on fire if I already thought all those comics and people were shit? I already hate lots of the same stuff you do, for similar reasons. Other people have brains capable of not enjoying slop, but rooting out truffles is still difficult and I value them over You Just Got Punk'd: The Twitter Years.
My time isn't infinite, telling me why I should hate PA or Kate Leth isn't that useful when this website gathers discerning enough users to tell me about good content I might actually like. There's almost nothing criticized here I can't readily tell is bad, not to mention understand why without a textwall + exegesis. Here is a list of all the good shit the Cables have mentioned in the world of comics: Hipster Hitler, and I knew about it before they mentioned it because they're mainly here to shoot fish in barrels. VALUE.
Maybe a centralized location for the hatejerk will free people up to more regularly talk about good content instead of merely coming here to rant because others here get it. |
