I wish they found a better way to take away one of your clones for a puzzle than just starting puzzles with rooms that require you leave a clone in there. Also having interference on your BGM has to be the worst fucking thing I've ever had in a puzzle game, luckily there was only one puzzle I got stuck on that had the distortion BGM. I'm really enjoying how the story is presented it really goes out of it's way to not beat you over the head until the very end. It's presented, there are some little logs to read for flavor, and then you're off to solve puzzles. The game feels so much like Metroid though I was often having a thought of "Did I miss some power-up?" when I'd get stuck but no, I'm just dumb.

The puzzle mechanic itself is similar to Thomas Was Alone or Trine but instead of being part of some party you're just endlessly making disposable copies of yourself to hold down buttons. Pretty quickly the game introduces some "can't swap here" and "can't make clone here" areas which most puzzles end up mostly consisting of. Eventually they introduce gravity pads too. I finished it in about 5 hours with probably an hour of it being time I forgot to close it. Like any indie game with some puzzles and a plot the reviewers seem way too impressed, but it's definitely worth finally playing if you got it in a humble bundle or picking up next time it's on sale. 15 bucks isn't a terrible price to pay if you're really hard up for a puzzle game, but I'd definitely put it above similar indie puzzlers.
