I found it to be generally improved from the previous version, and plugging it into the computer helped out a ton with the lag issues I was experiencing with my TV.
I had the opposite problem! Okay I'm just barely getting shifting across 2 frets on one string...my very first five note streak...what?! 7 fret shifts across 2 strings? What the fuck? No! Go back until I have the basic shit down pat! Should have just thrown in standard difficulty mode settings. You're going to throw your guitar through your monitor when it actually starts adding chords. When you think of all the games to unnecessarily shoehorn in bullet time, here's one game that desperately needs it but doesn't include it. It has that!!! The practice mode lets you slow things down and practice a section on loop. You can drop into the riff repeater anytime during play. It's decent, but it would easily be so much better with manual difficulty settings I think you're approaching this from a video game perspective. "The difficultly level just ramps up exponentially here, which is bad" is a valid criticism for a video game. I don't think there's any way around that for trying to increase difficulty within the framework of a pre-existing song using an actual guitar for a controller. There are going to be a lot of walls to crash through, and Rocksmith helpfully includes minigames for technique practice so you can grind it out. Even Guitar Hero had songs like that, especially when I first started playing. Hell, I stayed up most of the night trying to 100% No One Knows on easy. -/ES/- |
