| I've had a GeForce 260 forever. Tonight, the cat jumped on the computer. Because I am a lazy piece of trash that is mentally weak, I've had the cover off my case for weeks. Well, he managed to short out the 260. I really gotta make some changes around home or something.
There was a 570 on eBay for $130. I am praying PRAYING!!! it takes the same slot as the 260. (Actually I looked it up and I think that they are both PCI Expressx16 2.0.) I guess some games will run better now? I am half-tempted to try FarCry3 and Bioshock Infinite again and see if I would like them if they ran at a better rate. If I paid way too much for that card, please tell me I am an idiot. I used to be up on video cards but I haven't kept up in years. :( ICJ |
