| The pacing is completely bipolar. I've actually skipped most of an entire episode because it was part of a 7 episode arc that had been building and building already and I wasn't in the mood for another hour of nothing but the main character talking to himself. Sometimes it's slow and almost NOTHING HAPPENS or it takes 7 episodes to cover something that happens in a matter of hours. Then other times it speeds up. Also it's not finished yet and the literature is farther ahead than the series not unlike Game of Thrones. Who knows if we'll ever see the end of it.
It is a pretty depressing show at first, not as bad as something like Now and Then, Here and There but definitely pretty depressing but it gets better. And at least for now it's completely free to watch for the first 19 episodes. |
