Fuck, even the STORY got torn to shit by the second or third wave of developers. And of course they hired fanfic writers to head their story departments, and the fanfics were total shit. Maybe they couldn't tell, because said writing wasn't in the native language of their core dev team. Or maybe they were just not giving a fuck except for concerns about the bottom line. Still, I don't think this'll force the Goons and their metagaming ilk to loosen their scammy grip on the game, or change the behavior of the next top-dog bloc for the better. Just gives more leverage to the EULA-lawyering types. |
