So I had to deal with these for ergonomic shit back in the 90s, my users fucked up their wrists on whatever and needed one or the other. What I noticed over time was they tended to control the smaller one with their thumb (all the mileage of your old mouse applied directly to your thumb) and the larger one with their whole hand. So if someone is getting one of these and their thumb is part of their rsi issue then they shouldn't get the marble mouse probably.

Also be ready to up the sensitivity on the mouse because your fine motor control in your fingertips is way, way better, so you can do more with less.
