Re: The Etiquette/CHA system needs some work by Fucking Elves 07/31/2013, 5:40pm PDT I felt they were compelled to make all the Etiquette skills "equal" so you had the same number of chances to use them throughout the game. Some just get you 200 bucks more from fencing crap though. A lot of them seem to just short-circuit conversation trees. You can get the same result by talking to the guy right or from having the precognition to pick the right skills ahead of time. Also skill minimums to use higher damage weapons? Shadowrun guns got easier to use as they went high-tech. Any jackass is dangerous with a smartlinked panther cannon or Seven-7 gas grenades, but it takes skill investment to be dangerous with the four-shot holdout pistol you can smuggle through security.
