Everything from Bioshock meets everything from Thief. Creepy relationship with little girl? Sure! Audio diaries? Of course! Industrialized anachronistic city run by asshole religious zealots opposing a pagan nature god? Wouldn't be homage without it! E. L. If you want to just tell a story go write a book or make a movie. The more games that use it, the more they end up missing the whole point. SS2- Everything fine. Go to sleep. Wake up. Everyone dead? Monsters? What happened? Only records of the dead are audiologs. Get chronological picture of early voyage, things started to go wrong, then crew members hiding and being massacred. Doom 3- I've already seen how everything goes wrong. Listen to log: I HEARD VOICES! Bioshock- Rapture was a monster themepark from the start for all I know. Chronology all jumbled. Already crazy libertarians took drugs and went crazier. The end. Dishonored- Audiologs from still living people talking about yesterday's news. |
