Jhoh is my friend. He has provided reams of content for this site. When I ask a favor of him, he agrees without hesitation. He is a good person.
His hobby is Internet trolling. It's not my hobby, it may not be yours. But he sees following baseball or mountain climbing or cooking like how we see trolling. It's his thing. It's not like he got into it for two weeks and abandoned it. It's his hobby.
Jhoh Cable is not a racist. He is not a homophobe or anything else people call him. He simply delights in getting a reaction out of people. On the Internet, mind you - on sites you are free to never visit and can block easily at any time. He is also perfectly accessible. He isn't attending abortion rallies or giving people camped outside Wall Street shit.
Think about your friends and family for a minute. Any of them ever drive having had a little too much to drink? Cheat on their wives? Wallhack? Let's compare all the terrible things your friends have done with what you think Jhoh's crimes are. Jhoh doesn't invade forums or try to get reactions out of people who would rather be left alone. He posts his comic in ONE place, he doesn't promote it outside of his tumblr and Twitter feed and arranges things so that you have to go looking, and look hard to find it.
And people still want it taken off-line.
