I admit to being entirely ignorant of motorcycle games. But I'd like to learn! by Jerry Whorebach 07/09/2013, 1:01pm PDT
Right now, the biggest stumbling block for me is the fact they all seem to be named "MotoGP", no matter who develops or publishes them or even what level of simulation they are. It's bad enough that Namco (in-house), Capcom (developed by Milestone in Italy), and THQ (developed by Climax in the UK) all had or have dueling MotoGP serieses, but when two different companies release two completely different games in the same year with identical titles and indistinguishable boxart, what's the novitiate supposed to make of it?

I know at least one of these is supposed to have independent front and rear brake buttons... but which one?

However, if you'd be willing to settle for an awesome arcade-style open world racer that merely FEATURES motorcycles, I can't recommend Midnight Club: Los Angeles for Xbox 360 enough. It's honestly one of the funnest racing games I've ever played. Though I can't vouch for the motorcycles, as I only ever really used them when I had to (I heard they make it too easy).
