Seconded complaints: camera problems. Girls in bed have different hair colors, different breast sizes during cut scene than during gameplay.
Anyway God of War is A+ and a gold star torn gorily in half and tossed aside like litter. The brutality is awesome and the thwacking whacking slaughtering mechanics and graphics are just superior to absolutely everything. Yes, it is much like Devil May Cry in many ways, except that the protagonist isn't a FAGGOT. The graphics are just unbelievable, it sometimes takes a second to realize that you're in a cutscene instead of the game and vice versa. And in general the art direction is great, fabulous epic feel, beautiful palatte control, plenty of Greek but it's clear than in Gameplay Versus Greek, Gameplay wins every time. I can respect that. It's just fun to play, fun to watch. Actually, more fun to watch, since when you're playing you have to keep tabs on everything and press buttons, but when you're just watching it's like all the best parts of action movies for hours straight.
All the game store dorks at the store I bought this at were playing it and loving it. |
