| Besides June's tying up the show for pointless clarifications, they just seem so unfocused. There's no setup to the movie's absurd situations before. Someone will just keep mentioning random points of the movie to which someone else will reply, "Oh yeah that was weird." Repeat until show ends.
Compare it to some of their great older episodes like Burlesque and 88 Minutes. There's a definite difference. Everything was set up. Absurdity is mocked from multiple angles. It's not just everyone nodding their heads at how weird it was. The second opinion segment used to be my favorite, but I'm starting to think most of them are now fans rushing ahead to post fake reviews as soon as they hear what the next movie will be. |
