Good News: It's got only one day left! by Commander Tansin A. Darcos 05/19/2013, 5:48am PDT
A quick peek at the current running task of copying the files from the NAS to the Western Digital 3 TB drive indicates that it has only one day remaining. 202,784 items left and 256 GB, so it's more than ½ done. So it looks like it required about a day and a half, not ten days as I originally estimated. That's a hell of a lot of time, but again, it was all automatic, as long as the activity continued in the background and it just ran, and ran, and ran, it would eventually finish.

A 36-hour continuous task is a very long activity, but at least it brings me up to date. Next would be to back up any files on this machine that are private to it that aren't on the NAS. Hopefully, that's not much but the machine still has a lot of stuff on it. This machine's storage is about 750GB and about a 1/3 of that is in use, and I'm not sure if all of that is actually installed applications although there is a lot of stuff installed on here.
