I was out in the kitchen cooking some cheeseburgers. I have the Power Macintosh out in the living room of the rooming house I live at; the only things plugged in it are a power cord and a $9 Tenda wireless adapter. It's next to the kitchen on the other side of the wall as opposed to my room which has a doorway. I fired up VNC on the computer in my room and connected to the machine. I have a shortcut to the music folder on my NAS on the network on the Mac desktop; I double-clcicked on it to open it, found the file for "Jim Croce - Rapid Roy" and double-clicked on the icon. Then went back out to the kitchen. In the mean time, the Mac fired up VLC. which started the song, and while I'm cooking, the built-in speakers on the Mac are blaring out:
Oh Rapid Roy
That Stock Car Boy
He's too much too believe
Oh, he always got an extra pack of cigarettes
Rolled up in his T-shirt sleeve.
Sweet for a device that cost me $160 total and is, according to the other poster, an alleged "piece of shit" that he essentially said was worthless. Plus, it's shiny and looks nice; you could easily mistake it for a large speaker.
Come to think of it, this reminds me of that music system I saw for sale at Target that will essentially do something similar - acquire Music from your file server or possibly off the Internet and play it - and starts at $250.00 just for the base device, plus additional costs for other parts.

Are you missing the part where he codes in pascal? NT by The Happiness Engine 04/29/2013, 3:18pm PDT
Are you missing the part where he thinks he can upgrade and that his OS is relev by ant to anything? Entropy Stew 04/29/2013, 4:38pm PDT
My point is that since Pascal is already pointless, he can code on any doorstop by The Happiness Engine 05/01/2013, 4:33pm PDT
