It's not clear when you can jump straight up and grab something and when you need you need to parkour off of something to grab it. There were several times I thought "there's no way I can reach that by jumping straight up", spent 5-10 minutes trying to jump off of other shit or find a box to put underneath it, only to find I just need to jump straight up and the magical magnets in my hands will take care of the 2 foot gap. Other times, NO, I must parkour off something first.

Chop a zombie with axe, shove him over, then finish him on the ground... works most of the time. Sometimes, I'll chop and shove him so many times I use up my whole stamina bar and still not get the fucker to fall over. That's annoying. That shit happening while I fight six zombies after the game steals all my guns: fucking annoying.

At certain angles, I need to aim higher than the aim indicator indicates otherwise I will miss.

It's not always clear when something is in the background or it's something that will cause catastrophic arm-flailing and face-planting.

I was running through a collapsing ceiling bit and got through the first 50% of it fine and then died due to jumping I messed up. OK. But then at about 25% of the way, the game decides what I was doing is no longer good enough and starts killing me for no discernible reason.

Basically, everything worked enough to juuust about get into the groove of things, then suddenly things fuck up and I flip my keyboard. NEGATIVE

Also, WTF is this?
