God I love Launch Eclipse. A few I thought up:
fork(2): Create a copy of enemy mob to fight on your behalf. If the target mob is killed, his fork changes into a zombie and attacks your party
Forkbomb: Crash the Hugo interpreter
perl -e 'fork until (1 == 0)'
Alternate effect: create innumerable copies of yourself, greatly reducing enemy chance to hit
EMM386: Buff memory to increase max TSR limit. Lose next turn while attempting to configure correctly.
Quake: Enemy is pierced with nine-inch nails
Quake ][: Force enemy disk access patterns to create a harmonic feedback loop, dragging them across the server room (used to happen with mainframe drum memory. Also: your washer)
Quake ]I[: You become the avatar of competent implementor John Carmack. Mental stats increase 50%, HP is halved
Doom: Summons a cyberdemon to fight on your behalf. Only executable while EMM386 is active.
Divide by Zero: This desperate act opens a black hole. All mobs, NPCs, and PC flip a coin to determine whether they live or die
Abort/Retry/Fail?: Target's next action delayed by 1 turn
Lace Card: Paralyze target for 10 rounds. Target may sacrifice X bitcoins to IBM to end the effect early. Stun duration is inversely proportional to X.
Segmentation Fault: Target below 50% hp is instantly killed. His inventory drop is replaced with a core file, which must be debugged to gain access to the item
Debug: Debugs target core or unsummons target bug. Channeled ability. Costs HP and bitcoins per round to execute. Execution time is 1d4 rounds
Heisenbug: Summons a small bug to fight for you. Enemy attacks have a -1 penalty until bug is killed. Bug has an 80% dodge chance vs physical attacks. Debugging leveled at the Heisenbug will increase debug's HP cost
Throw Exception: Returns party to previous room
Pong: Reflect next attack
It's On Like Donkey Kong: Summon hammer. Party gains +1 to rolls while hammer is wielded
Umeshoryu: unblockable psychic punch knocks enemy to the ground
