This is all totally true as far as me not knowing about cuts, but from what you describe it does sound like there are jump cuts in the airport terminal. You're running through the terminal, and suddenly you're in a completely different section where you grab a luggage carrier, and then suddenly you're running through a completely different section with the carrier, etc. If I had taken that bet I'd have to shamefully rename my level q2cuts.bsp.
