I'm making a public protest right now, over the obviously stupid belief that because the Mayan calendar ends the 26,000 year cycle on the day the earth ends its precessional wobble, which only occurs once every 26,000 years, and as it turns out, along with a few other things, occurs in 9 days on December 21, 2012.
This is clearly ridiculous, the world isn't going to end and things will more-or-less continue on December 22.
But let me tell you, if the world comes to an end and human existence terminates in annihiliation on December 21, I am going to be pissed. I spent a lot of money buying Christmas presents! I could have saved that money and not added all that extra debt on my credit card. |
