math review by fabio 12/03/2012, 11:49pm PST One turn in Pride of Nations takes 2-3 minutes to calculate and load. If you alt+tab out, the turn will halt loading until you come back to it. Some countries have very limited choices for the first hundred or more turns. The campaign game lasts 70 years, with 24 turns per year. That's each full game consisting of 70 hours of pure loading.
