| I read your other post and noticed that you were looking for intrigue.With the Rome expansion, there is a broad range of meaningful intrigue plots and they are satisfying to pull off, so long as you are OK with navigating the interface. But they're only satisfying in the context of self-imposed restraint and not working the mechanics to the absolute hilt (especially marriage->assasination->inheritance, though it is absolutely brilliant to watch the AI manage to pull one of these combos off). If the AI was as devious as you and could
a) interpret inheritance lines beyond first order effects, b) understand how to sabotage your alliances the game would be brilliant. |
