Thanks, Gamepro Protips. I don't know how I ever would have noticed that big automate button without you. They've always had an auto button. The problem was when you turn them on auto, they tear down all your farms and put +industrial tiles up, starving your population.

One of those situations where I think people are bitching about the same things that were wrong in the original, but the original gets a pass and gets called the best game ever. COUGHXCOMCOUGH

Did Jonesy run over your dog or have sex with your Galaga arcade cabinet? What's going on here? The new XCOM is just fine and the only original XCOM I could tolerate was Apocalypse because it had a real-time button.
