He brings up several complaints, some legitimate, some nitpicky, then spends the last half of the video apologizing to the Firaxis guys who were nice enough to have a sit down meeting with him and nice enough to listen to customer input, for saying anything negative about their game. NOW THEY WON'T MAKE GAMES THEIR CUSTOMER DEMOGRAPHIC WANTS TO PLAY AND IT'S ALL MY FAULT BOO HOO!
GOG scheduled each ultima re-release to coincide with his review of that title. Why WOULDN'T a game company want to spend 15 minutes chatting with him if he can produce that kind of marketing buzz?
I remember this great thread where some joystick manufacturer guy who was reneging on his sales and indicating that it was because of negative forum comments and ICJ tore him a new asshole. Fucking sell the site on THAT attitude, Jonesy. |
