They ding you if you choose an alternate fingering from what they expect, and the fingerings they expected were frequently insane things that no one would play and which certainly were not how the real songs are played.
I mean, ok, a C barre chord, you don't see many rock guitarists do it but it does happen. A c MINOR barre chord? I've never seen that in my life outside of Rock Band. |
