Picard at his most badass. At least one of those dinky birds of prey went down!

I just enjoy transferring power like Picard. It's pretty clear from the show that the Enterprise, despite being the biggest (?) ship in the fleet and the pinnacle of Federation technology, can barely handle a 1 on 1 fight with a standard klingon/romulan/ferengi warship. As FABIO indicates, Starfleet Battles reflects that.

Also, there was that one time when like six ferengi transported over to the bridge and Picard relinquished the Enterprise after some gentle arm twisting. That was embarrassing.

But remember that one time Picard went all Rambo style and butchered those pirates that hijacked the Enterprise while it was in spacedock? That was totally out of character and awesome. I believe in the same episode some terrorists attacked the party the rest of the crew was at, killing a notoriously annoying starbase officer in the process and no one gave a single shit.
