| I really enjoyed the first one. This one has less roaming aspects, and I swear you'd even get quests from time to time, well that's gone too. It was pretty enjoyable and worked well as a PC port, if you have a Xbox 360 Controller plugged in unplug it before you start or all the tips show the Xbox 360 buttons.
Beside the roaming aspects and quest things it had mostly the same things going for it. The story was good and it feels like it would have benefited from more jerk off and run around segments. The single-player clocks in at around 6 hours, which I guess is why I would have liked to see some free-roaming aspects or optional missions. Even without that the characters are done pretty well it almost made me want to read the comic. Also keep in mind that the game does feature a lot of introduction stuff and I walked around and talked to everyone twice (their voice actors worked very hard you should always talk to NPCs), I could see easily clocking just 5 hours in single player if you're in a rush. I haven't tried the coop yet or anything like that, but all the same, it's definitely worth 15 bucks if you enjoyed the original. If you haven't played that I'd say just go get it. It sure will make the sequel a lot more enjoyable and it was a was a lot more enjoyable. |
