So why did this one only get to $20,000 and other ones with older game designers do so much better?
Is it because Pitfall is merely OKAY and the reason it's remembered is due to the lack of decent games on the 2600? Not sure.
Is it because Activision.... while the underdogs at one point, ended up "winning" the entire thing with PC games, and are now considered to be the devil? I mean, if there were a Looking Glass relaunch, I bet it would do a million. I think David Crane's amazing talents in creating the original Activision have been undone by hearing about what anti-gamer cunts Activision is these days.
