| I've been debating on how exactly to phrase this: would anyone want an author account here at Caltrops, via the Wordpress front end? I kind of need a little help promoting posts into articles. It would also allow people to just open a tab and start making a new article.
I have to be brutally honest about something, though. There is another website I follow where they took on a few co-authors like that, and one of the people started blogging obsessively about Yu-gi-oh. It made the entire site unreadable while that happened. So I am thinking of limiting this experiment to a couple months and seeing how it goes from there. The reason I've never tried this before is because I don't have it in me to tell a helpful person, "You're posting to the front page too much and it's not funny." It sucks to start a proposal off like this with a fear. I think Caltrops needs four articles on the front page a month. Oh, and all of this is because I am under the mistaken impression that the front page would draw people to the forum, which might make the forum high-traffic again. I could also ask Tdarcos if he'd accept doubling of his previous wage to post here again, but he unfriended me on Facebook and I think he hates me. ICJ |
