Load times are really really long.

This is very true. So long I thought it was a hang, but it's just loading. The really big upside is that it loads only before the missions, once, and then never again until the next mission or if you fail and restart the same mission (though the loading time in that case is shorter). This saves the game's playability because a mission could take 10 minutes, traversing a GTA:VC-sized countryside uninterupted, and even after the mission you could hunt card bounties without seeing a loading screen. So it's a good load:play ratio that way. I would expect this and the framerate would be the two things improved by the Xbox's hard drive caching and muscle (I'm talking to you, Lizard_King, you lazy motherfucker!!!).

The crazy swede's the most likable character to play, but his speed makes the game a little too easy because you can easily circle strafe your way to safety around any enemy soldier. The stealth chick is probably the best choice because she can blow shit up just as well as the other guys, but she has more options for getting into position.

Nilsson, voiced by Peter Stormare, is clearly a player's choice because you actually have to work (your thumb) to avoid damage, unlike Jacobs who just shrugs it off, no input from you needed.

Anyway, I think this game's strongest suit (HAHA) is that it presents you with the entire game up front, and you go about playing it the way you want. It doesn't baby you, and the game gets more interesting as it goes on. FABIO mentioned that there is a complaint of it becoming too repetitive, but I'm halfway through, and it's still fresh for me. Perhaps it's my lack video game time available, where I haven't been able to play for a week and my boredom is staved off each time I return, but how can you dislike a game where you drag a cuffed high-ranking bounty behind some cover and call for a supply drop -- only to have the supply chopper destroyed by AA fire, and then get killed by falling debris. It's not "cheap" and I don't feel cheated because it was flukey and it only happened to me. That was my personal experience in that mission, which probably no one else had. Next time I did that mission I made sure to sweep that section better so it would provide a safe haven later. I value the control of my destiny which the game affords me, like GTA before it.
