Is the only comics fan category "self-deprecating dead-ender"? Let's check out some "book" names: The Outsiders Runaways The Losers NYX or NYC or some junk, I forget Inhumans R.A. Salvatore: whiny, pure-hearted member of historically welfare-drawing societal subclass Also: why does everyone refer to these damn things as "books"? 22 pages of anything can at best be called a pamphlet. Hint: it sounds even more stupid when you try to impose legitimacy upon comics. Far better to let the work speak for itself, than force its scope to overreach. |
