Wisconsin is very much a swing state. For every Paul Ryan that comes along we also produce a Russ Feingold. Bush jr. never won Wisconsin. And for the record, Walker campaigned as the moderate republican candidate.
Every time I went to a rally I made it a mission to find the "throngs" of teabaggers the media subtly indicates are equal in number to the anti-Walker crowd. Couldn't find a one. Not even huddled next to the Fox News Van (which was itself pretty hilariously papered with anti-walker signs by passing protesters).
Lets not forget that deep down, the "Tea Party" is an astroturf publicity stunt by Dick Armey's Freedom Works PR company. They show up in low numbers, get photographed with a fisheye lens to artificially boost the apparent size of the crowd, then immediately disperse to go watch themselves on TV.
Look at the thousands hundreds of walker supporters showing their support! Strange how the people at the edges of this expansive photo are standing at such odd angles. Must not have had their V8 today!
If Walker wins the recall, it'll be thanks to some vote-counting "error" that stinks to high heaven, like when that cunt Kathy Nickolaus "found" over 7000 votes in Waukesha right when it looked like Judge David "Huggy" Prosser was going to lose his supreme court seat. |
