Does this difficulty ever level off to a good point? by Worm 06/02/2012, 5:30pm PDT I'm on nightmare and, playing with a single person is pointless because the NPC companion is about just as good and doesn't make anything one shot you. Certain enemy abilities feel like they ought to be in Ikaruga instead of a dungeon crawler, particularly those arcane walls and fire chains. It seems like the only advantage of 4 players would be that you can exploit the shit out of the resurrection system.
