When sympathy blurs with idiocy
Things actually happen in the 2nd season! It's gone from completely pointless slog to Spartacus with a budget.
Which begs the question why didn't the whole story start right before the civil war broke out? Sean Bean executed by episode 2, BAM you're done with setup. Considering that even an unabridged version of Dune can be told in a 4 hour miniseries, there's absolutely no reason for the Sean Bean death setup to take 10. Now in season 2 you're getting five new characters and situations thrown at you at once. Now things are happening, but no one can keep track of what. |
