Kerry fighting an elephant would have been his "Bill Clinton playing the sax on Arsenio" moment that would have turned the tide of the election. With the vote of the animal-loving segment of the left already ensured, railing a hellstorm of blows onto Dumbo with the rally cries "I Have a Plan To K.O. This Elephant" and "An Elephant Never Forgets... My Fists" would have united us all under a wrathful God (the one at the beginning of the Bible who took out all the animals himself with the thinking man's tsunami six thousand years ago: the global flood).
