| The first game was hilarious because you were laying waste to an impossibly idylic fantasy paradise that did nothing to deserve your wrath.
The second game put the "good guys" in the thickest sneer quotes imaginable and gave you the the motivation of recovering some magic macguffins the good guys stole from you instead of evil for evil's sake. |
