| it's really good, I played hooky from work after a doctor's appointment and went to see it
it's just ~2 hours of cool fight scenes, kind of a mix of kung fu theater/80s action good-guy-as-horror-movie-monster flick (think commando, with a faster fighter as the lead) a long time ago I linked a knife fighting forum from here because I thought it was silly, but tons of the actors in the movie are knife fighters! and it looks fantastic on camera the other people in the theater kept like...slow clapping after every fight finished because it was shocking and impressive I just sat there thinking how much more fun I was having than during any michael bay movie, and it has less plot and dialogue than any of them |
