The TV was on in the background, and I didn't hear all of it, but TD Ameritrade had a commercial on about retirement, and then the guy says, "In case the sun does rise on December 22 and you still need to retire, we're here to help."
I love it! They're of course referring to the prediction allegedly made that according to the Mayans (and possibly others such as Nostradamus), the world ends on December 21, 2012. So it's a great commercial, because, anyone with any sense is going to presume the world isn't going to end on 12/21, so of course you need to prepare for it. But I thought it was a great way to put it. |
