What even qualifies as boss fights in DE1? The two mech agents, the group outside Paul's Apartment, the dumb Chinese bitch, and there was probably something at the end of the game. All of those were pretty fun because DE1 gave them a very integrated feeling. When you fight Navarro, it's either some close quarter battle or her with a bunch of troops around her. The Paul gauntlet is awesome only if you realize you can ACTUALLY SAVE PAUL.
It really doesn't have bosses in the traditional sense and that's what made it so cool. That was something that would have been nice in DE3, instead we got a bunch of rejects from FF13-2 v.8 rv.36. |
